My name is Madeleine Nordmark and I am the founder and author of Animalclassrooms.com. 
I am a licensed zookeeper. I have worked with pets, such as dogs, cats, birds and rodents as well as horses and wild, endangered animals in zoo. I've been doing so for 15 years.

Working with animals is very rewarding and inspiring. During the years i've gained alot of experience and several diplomas. 

My own business started developing during the years that I worked in petstores. Many of the questions from the pet owners were the same...
What kind of food should I choose for my dog? Why do I get so much algea in my tank? Why is my guneapig itching? 

The need for knowledge about animals in our care was huge and I wanted to create a platform with online courses for everyone!
Pet owners, zookeepers and people working with animals in other ways. Even the ones with no experience at all that had a dream of working with animals in the future.

It all started with my Swedish platform Djurskötarkurs.se that was founded in 2018. It has extended to all of scandinavia and now been translated for our english readers with Animalclassrooms.com

The goal is to give all animal lovers out there the chance to work with these amazing animals whether it is with personal pets or to make a career. Our courses contains lessons about the basic subjects needed to care for animals such as ecology, ethology, aquaristics, safety, welfare, nutrition and much more!
